Master's Degree Program
Tewnty-four or more credits shoulds be earned from among the courses offered by the Department. However, the number of credits from basic level courses shall not exceed 9. Students must pass the comprehensive examination for the Master’s degree program. The thesis for the Master’s degree must be passed by the thesis Committee.

Doctor's Degree Program
The following major fields are offerede; Developmental Biology, Virology, Cell Biochemistry, Plant Molecular Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Electrophysiology, Plant Genetics, Protein biochemistry, and Immunology. Students must pass the qualifying examination for the doctoral program. Sity or more credits should be earned from the courses offered by the Department. However, for the holders of a Master’s degree all or part of the credits earned in the Master’s degree program may be counted as part of the total. The dissertation must be passed by the Dissertation Committee.
