About the Graduate School

The Department of Mass Communications aims to educate research specialists with objective analytical skills, creative study abilities, and thorough understanding of the theories and applications of a wide variety of communication phenomena. The Department provides students with opportunities for leadership development, project participation, and balanced acquisition of expertise and field knowledge. It also helps them become active specialists who can lead the society of the future. With the intensified education of each program -- Media Information, Advertising & PR, Theater & Film, and Digital Media & Contents -- the Department is also committed to training future leaders who will contribute to social development. Furthermore, the Department is trying to encourage students to become well-rounded individuals pursuing "human-oriented study."
