김영환

 Young Hwan Kim received his BSc in polymer engineering and MSc degrees in chemistry from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Now he is currently pursuing the PhD degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University. The interesting part is the materials science including functional hybrid type nanocomposite materials, optical nanomaterials, and magnetic nanocomposite. Such this field has been received for many applications because of it’ newly functional properties, which is depends various inorganic materials. Our lab has focused new synthesis for functional hybrid type nanocomposite materials and has many patent and papers.

차현길

 Hyun Gil Cha received his BSc in polymer engineering and MSc degrees in chemistry from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2005 and 2007, respectively. Now he is currently pursuing the PhD degree in chemistry at the Sogang University, The interesting part is the materials science including functional hybrid type 1D nanomaterials, optical metal oxide microcrystal, and magnetic nanocomposites/thin film. Such this field has been received for many applications because of its new physical and chemical properties, which is depends on various inorganic materials.


Zhang, Xiao Li 

  Xiao Li Zhang received a B. Sc. in Chemistry in 2001 from Shandong University in P. R. China. She joined professor Young Soo Kang’s research team for master course and got her M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry in 2005. Thereafter, she began her Ph.D course under professor Kang’s guidance. Her research mainly focuses on synthesis and shape-control of semiconductors, diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMSs) and magnetic materials.


Qiao, Ru

  Ru Qiao studied Chemistry and got his B.C.E degree in 2002 at Shandong University, China, and completed his M.S. in Applied Chemistry in 2005 from Shandong University. From March 2006, he joined Prof. Young Soo Kang’s group for doctoral course. His current research focuses on the synthesis of magnetic inorganic/organic hybrid materials and hierarchical materials and their related properties.


C. M. Kanamadi

  Dr. C. M. Kanamadi received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, INDIA since 2000 and 2002 respectively. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics from same Department during 2006. His research fields of interest are ferrites, ferroelectrics, magnetoelectric composites and nanocomposite materials. He published his research work in more than 17 international journals. At present he is working as a post doctoral researcher at Chemistry Department, Pukyong National University, Busan, South Korea under the guidance of Prof.Young Soo Kang.

Abhijit Jadhav

 Abhijit Jadhav received his B.Sc in Chemistry in 2000 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India and M.Sc. in polymer chemistry from University of Pune, Pune, Maharashtra, India in 2002. He has research and industrial experience of more than 4 yrs in India. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D degree in chemistry at Sogang University, Seoul, S. Korea. His research work is related to wavelength converting nanocomposite films. These phosphor-polymer nanocomposite films have applications in agriculture field. This technology will be helpful for converting harmful UV light to more useful visible-near IR range, which will be utilized for plant growth.

Nitin Jadhav

 Nitin Jadhav received his B.Sc (chemistry) in 2006 and M.Sc (chemistry) in 2008 from Pune University (India). He has research experience of synthesis and characterization of organic-inorganic hybrid material for heterojuncton solar cells in India. Currently he is pursuing PhD in Chemistry at Department at Sogang University, Seoul. His research works is related to synthesis of mesoporous TiO2 material for cosmetics and catalytic application.

Umapada Pal

- Visiting Scientist, Department of Chemistry, Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.
 - Professor, Institute of Physics, Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico (since 1995).
 - Prof. Pal is a distinguished Mexican Scientist, working on the fabrication of nanomaterials (metals and semiconductors) and their applications in catalysis, fuel and solar cells. He has more than 160 publications in International Journals and books and a patent in his credit. Worked as guest editor of 3 issued of international journals, organized several International Congresses, and recipient of State Science and Technology award. He is the reviewer of more than 45 International journals (ACS, IOP, Elsevier, AIP, Springer, ASP, etc.).

Zhenlan Quan

 Zhenlan Quan, as a visiting scholar, her research interests have been focused on synthesis and application of dendritic nanomaterials of metals and metal oxides. She received Ph.D degree in Physical chemistry from Shandong University (China) in 2001. She worked as a post doctor at Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) from 2002 to 2003. And she has been a full-time faculty in College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Qingdao University of Science and Technology (China) since 2003.


허진국 

  Mr.Jin-Kook Heo received his BSc in polymer engineering from Pukyong National University (Korea) in 2006. Now he is currently pursing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where he is studying the deposition and plasma processing of CVD and ALD metal thin films for the application of non-volatile memory.

  Young Chul Han received a BSc in polymer engineering from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2006. Now he is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where he is studying the effect of g-Ray irradiation and the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticle.

  Eun Sun Ji received a BSc in polymer engineering from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2006. Now she is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where she is studying the elecroless metal plating on the polymer film.

  Hwa Jin Cha received a BSc in polymer engineering from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2006. She is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where she is studying the synthesis of inorganic nanoparticle and fabrication of organic electronic ink particles for E-paper.

  Mi Hyang Jung received a BSc in chemisty from Pukyong National University (Korea) in 2006. She is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where she is studying the synthesis and characterization of precursor for MOCVD and ALD.


박미나

  Mi Na Park received her BSc degree in polymer engineering from Pukyong National University (Korea) in 2006. She is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, and her research areas focus on the synthesis and characterization of UV curable oliogmer and fluorinated polymer.


Li, Yan

  Yan Li received a B. E. in Chemical Engineering in 2004 from Wuhan University in P. R. China. She joined professor Young Soo Kang’s team at Sep. 2005 and got her M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry in 2007 from Pukyong National University. She did a lot of work on synthesis of magnetic nanomaterials.


Qiu, Ri

  Ri Qiu studied Chemistry and got his B.S. degree in 2005 at Shandong University. From March 2006, he joined Prof. Young Soo Kang’s group for master course. His current research focuses on metal material dendritic structure synthesis by electrochemical methods, mechanism discussion and catalysis application.

  Ju Yun Park received a BSc in Chemistry from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2007. Now she is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Pukyong National University, where she is studying the surface chemistry for hydrogen production.

 

강동인

 

  Dongin Kang received his BSc in chemistry from Pukyoung National University (Korea) in 2008. Now he is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Sogang University, The interesting part is the synthesis and characterization of precursor for metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD).

 

QuocLong Pham

 

QuocLong Pham received his BSc in Physical Chemistry from HoChiMinh University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam in 2007. And now he is pursuing the MS degree in Chemistry at Sogang University. His research field is the materials science including metal nanoparticles, metal hybrid conducting ink. Applications: inkjet printing, printed circuits, solar panel, sensor and etc.

Soo Jin Kim received a BSc in Chemistry Education from Ewha Womans University (Korea) in 2005. Now she is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at Sogang University, where she is studying metal oxide nano/micro crystal for water splitting.
