Amol Pawar

 Amol Pawar received his BSc (Physics) in 2004 and MSc (Physics) in 2006 from Pune University (India). He received his  PhD (Chemistry) from Sogang University in 2016. During his PhD, he was working on wavelength conversion of nanocomposite films and study its optical properties and Artificial Photosynthesis. He has research experience of two years on synthesis of metals/ metal oxides/ metal nitrides using Transferred Arc Thermal Plasma Reactor in India. Currently he is working as PostDoc in a field of Artificial Photosynthesis. This technology is useful to reducing green house effect.

Zeeshan Haider

 

  Zeeshan Haider received Msc. Industrial chemistry from Government College University (GCU), Lahore (Pakistan) in 2009. He is currently pursuing Doctorate degree in Chemistry at Sogang University. His current research interest includes fabrication of nanoscale oxide materials

for solar energy applications such as photocatalytic hydrogen generation by solar water splitting, CO2photoreduction and artificial photosynthesis.

Zheng Jinyou

 

 Jin You Zheng received his B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and Technology in 2009 from Yanbian University (Yan Ji, China) and M.Sc. in Chemistry in 2012 from Sogang University (Seoul, Korea). He is pursuing the Ph.D degree in Chemistry at Sogang University. His research works are related to synthesis of nano-structured metal or metal oxide (semiconductor) electrodes for solar water splitting and artificial photosynthesis by different methods, especially electrochemical deposition method.

Ma Haoxuan

 

 Ma Haoxuan received his BSc degree in chemistry in 2012 from Jilin University, China. Now he is currently pursuing the MSc degree in chemistry at the Sogang University, Seoul. His current research mainly focuses on synthesis of magnetic materials (Nd2Fe14B) and the related properties.

Syed Kamran Haider

 

 

Syed Kamran Haider received his M.Sc. degree (2010) at Department of Chemistry in Government College University Lahore (Pakistan). Now he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Young Soo Kang in physical chemistry at the Sogang University. His research area is “Fabrication & characterization of single electron transistor at room temperature”.

 Myung Jong Kang received his BSc (chemistry, lifescience) in 2013 from Sogang University. He joined Nanostructured material lab since 2012. His current research work is related to materials for Solar water splitting for Artificial Photosynthesis.

Hye Yeong Jung received B.S. degree (2015) at the Department of Chemistry in Sogang University. She is currently working towards the M.S degree under the guidance of Prof. Young Soo Kang in Nanomaterials lab. She is doing research on nanocomposites of rGO(reduced graphene oxide) and metal oxide photocatalyst, optimizing the reduction level of rGO for efficient conversion of Carbon dioxide to Methanol in artificial photosynthesis

Currently, she is pursuing the M.S. degree under the supervision of Prof. Young Soo Kang in physical chemistry at the Sogang University. Her research area is on CO2 conversion by using semiconductor which has photo catalytic activity.

Minh Hieu Ngo

 

Minh Hieu Ngo received his B.S degree (2015) at Department of Chemistry in VNU University of Science. Now he is currently pursuing the M.S. degree under the supervision of Prof. Young Soo Kang in physical chemistry at the Sogang University. His research area is on supermagnet with (BH) max higher than 80 MGOe by nanocomposite of hard/soft magnetic nanoparticle interface junction.
